What I learned from undertaking my research projects

This is the first time that I have done a ‘real’ research, to dive into the library and into the internet in searching of the appropriate information. For the first time I have realised how difficult it is to tell the truth from the false things since there was actually quite a lot of inaccurate information on the internet. I have also learned to compose an academic research paper and to make readable by applying the APA format.

What I learned about teamwork while working on the survey project

I found it really horrible to complete the survey project without a partner. The survey work, the analysis of data, the composing of the report, all these require work that was too much for an individual. My partner was very helpful, and thus I did not have to work all alone and at least I have someone to help me. Teamwork really helped.

What I learned about library research and citing my sources

I have to say that the library helped me a lot when I was doing my research paper. I learned to use the online database, the WebOPAC system, and the various information resources that the library could provide. Citing my sources was another thing whose importance had never been realised until I started to write the research paper. I learned to respect the origin of the information.
